Volunteer Student Record: North to South. Friendship is the Biggest Gift. 🌈✨

Becoming a volunteer student is one of those experiences that we didn't think would be so fun and full of stories! At first, I just felt like trying, wanting to go out and do something new beyond the classroom, but when I got out, it turned out to be a journey that changed our lives.

Sometimes we represent schools, leave with friends, sometimes with a small group of friends, but no matter what kind of thing we go, every time we meet new people and new things that are unique.

From northern children... to meeting the sea

We grew up with mountains and cold weather. Life has always been bound to the northern ways, but volunteering has taken us from home to the sea. The first day we saw the sea with our own eyes, frankly, extremely excited, like a child with a big gift. The sound of waves, sea breezes, sunshine. It's fresh and full of energy. It really made us understand that the world is wider than we thought.

Heavy work but laughing loudly

Volunteer activities are not easy. Some days have to get up early, work in the sun, sweat, mess clothes, but the thing that makes it fun is to work with friends. When tired, laughing, drowning out tiredness. When having problems, it helps to solve it. It is not only to work to help others, but to create memories that our hearts smile every time we think of.

Get real friends from smiles and kindness

What we never expected was "friends." We meet very sincere friends from these activities. Friends who don't have to say much but understand each other. Friends who are next to each other when tired, when fun, and when quiet. This kind of friendship makes volunteering more special than you think.

A wider classroom than a school.

Volunteering teaches us to learn from real life, to see the lifestyles of people in many areas, to understand the meaning of self-sufficiency, sharing, and strong living. Every time we hear stories from the community, we feel like we've opened a new book that never gets bored.

Why do you want to invite everyone to try? 💛

Because it's more fun to think, to have more friends than you hope, and to have an experience that you can't find anywhere. Being a volunteer student gives us a "give," and at the same time we get a full heart of friendship, a smile, and a memory that will stay with us for a long time.
