When I tell y’all I have spent this ENTIRE month minding the business of people who DO NOT EXIST?! And the worst part? I enjoyed EVERY SECOND! 🫠😂
Now, before we close out October, let’s discuss the books, the drama, and the fictional individuals who had me questioning my own sanity!
📖 I Got You — Genesis and Jordana! Because there’s something about a man who says “I got you” and actually means it! We LOVE a man whose actions match his words! 👏🏽💕
📖 A Wolfe in Chic Clothing — Wes and Iesha gave me billionaire romance with a side of ambition! Because why choose between securing your dreams and finding somebody who appreciates you?! 💅🏽
📖 The Purest Love for the Coldest Thug — Solána and Mace! A coldhearted man with a soft spot for the right woman?! And here I go again, finding emotionally complicated men entertaining! 😭🚩
📖 What a Wicked Way to Treat the Woman You Love — BABY! The title alone should’ve been a warning! Tiffany, Tyrisha, and Mezzie had enough relationship problems to keep an entire counseling practice employed! 😩🤣
📖 Enigma — Layanna and Caleb reminded me that love, grief, healing, and second chances can get COMPLICATED! This one gave me a different kind of emotional roller coaster. 🥹❤️

Secrets, betrayals, messy relationships, and enough foolishness to make me want to cross the Verrazzano Bridge and start asking questions MYSELF! 🤣💀
📖 The Danger Trilogy — Dymon and Quinci kicked things off, Diesel and Greysen kept the energy going, and then came Declan’s complicated situation! Three books, three very different romantic situations, and a WHOLE lot of personality! These Danger men definitely lived up to their last name! 😂🔥
📖 Married to a Brownsville Bully 1–3 — Yoshon and Golden had me rooting for a fresh start, but Yolani and Hazel?! WHEW! 😩 The streets, the relationships, the secrets, and the disrespect! Some of these characters had absolutely NO BUSINESS being in relationships until they got themselves together! 🫠
📖 Demon’s Dream — Demon and Dream! Because how do you start with thirty days, a whole list of rules, and the expectation that nobody is catching feelings?! SIRRRR! That’s not how any of this works! 😭😂❤️
📖 Never Faking About You — Fire and Lynx! The banter, the attitude, the pretending, and the chemistry! Baby, sometimes the line between getting on somebody’s nerves and falling for them is apparently nonexistent! 🤭💕
📖 Crenshaw Kings 1–5 — AND HERE WE GOOOOOO! 😭🤣

LeQuay?! 🤣🤣 The fact that this man checked Art about Scotland and then ended up getting her number HIMSELF while Art slept on the FLOOR?! I was HOLLERING! 😭💀
Shakur?! BABY! And don’t even get me started on Teyairra because that woman worked the absolute LAST of my nerves! 🫠

At this point, I’ve accepted that my tolerance for anything sane, sensible, or remotely hinged is UNFOUND, UNFORTUNATE, AND NONEXISTENT! 🤣🚩
October gave me romance, chaos, heartbreak, healing, loyalty, betrayal, toxic men, strong women, and enough plot twists to keep me emotionally invested in situations that were NEVER MY BUSINESS!
And if we’re being serious, I’m not just READING these books! I’m at the cookouts, in the arguments, witnessing the shootouts, attending the weddings, and mentally fighting characters who can’t hear me! 😭🤣
