When I first started, I was on the PV/liver transplant team. I was on that team for 3 years. I took call, had a rotating schedule to PMs, 10a-6pm shifts etc.
But eventually I decided I wanted to go back to school and I got married and we decided to start a family. We didn’t have money for daycare, so I made the switch to work only weekends. I’ve been on weekends for 5 years now! That’s right, every Saturday and every Sunday. It can be tiring but it’s what works best for our family.
Im hoping once I’m done with nursing school, I can get off weekends. But we shall see! I won’t be done with school for another 3 years. (I’m in the part time nursing school program)
