Lolololol true let’s disregard the fact that I balance school/family/job. And in the summer I’m the fun coordinator. While doing all the other mom tasks🥲🫡
Many people assume that working only on weekends means having the entire week off, but as many multitasking moms experience, this couldn't be further from the truth. Balancing nursing school, family duties, and a job requires a tremendous amount of organization and endurance. In fact, even when working weekends, moms often serve as the 'fun coordinator' in the summer months and take on all the additional responsibilities that come with managing a household. Tasks such as meal preparation, coordinating schedules, and helping with schoolwork continue throughout the week, leaving little true downtime. For nursing students who are also moms, the pressure can be even greater. They need to manage rigorous academic schedules, clinical rotations, and study time, while also fulfilling family and work commitments. This juggling act highlights the dedication and strength required to maintain balance across these demanding roles. Understanding these realities helps bust the common misconception that weekend work guarantees a break. Instead, it encourages more empathy and support for working mothers who are navigating multiple roles simultaneously. Sharing these experiences openly provides a genuine look into #momlife, offering encouragement and community to others in similar situations.
