Pros: Female protagonists. Multiple characters’ perspectives. It’s reminds me of a collage in written form and blends prose with social media texts, articles, etc to build the story. Cute cover is 5/5.
Cons: A little too quirky and gross at times. The story could have been more developed. The ending was terrible.
Bunny: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Well written and well paced with an intriguing plot. A somewhat modern take on animal groom folklore. I really enjoyed this book despite almost every single character being unlikeable. Cute cover as well.
Wir Kinder von Bahnhof Zoo ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
I saw the movie ages ago and always wanted to read the book but I could not find it in English. It is available in English as an e-book but I prefer a physical copy and made do with the original German. The story is both Christiane’s memoir and a “documentary” on teen drug addict life in 1970s Berlin. The cover is lacking but there are time capsule pictures inside depicting Christiane’s cohorts.
