I miss having green hair...

Having had green hair before, I can honestly say it was one of the most fun and expressive things I’ve done with my look. The bright color made me stand out and boosted my confidence. However, maintaining such a bold color requires dedication. Frequent touch-ups and using color-safe shampoos were essential to keep that vibrant green from fading quickly. I found that deep conditioning treatments helped prevent the hair from becoming dry and brittle, which is a common issue with brightly colored hair. It’s also important to avoid excessive heat styling to preserve the color and hair health. Beyond the maintenance, there’s something truly freeing about having green hair—it’s not just a style, but a statement. It encourages creativity and breaks conventional norms, which can be very uplifting for personal expression. If you’re considering going green or missing your old green locks, I recommend carefully selecting a salon experienced with vivid colors and investing in quality hair care products designed for colored hair. This way, you can enjoy the fun and uniqueness of green hair without sacrificing hair health. Though I moved on from my green phase, the memories and feeling of individuality it gave me still linger. Sometimes, I think about trying it again because green hair isn’t just a color—it’s an attitude and a mood that lasts even after the dye fades.
