The BMA ordered all units ready to catch the "Kalmaki" storm, monitoring heavy rain-water support, Nov. 7-9.
Bangkok Permanent Secretary Nong Thongsri said that with the Meteorological Department warning Typhoon "Kalmaki," which will affect upper Thailand, there will be more rain, including Bangkok and its perimeter. Some heavy to heavy rainfall and cumulative rainfall will be expected during 7-9 Nov. 68. Coupled with the Irrigation Department increasing the amount of drainage of the Chao Phraya Basin and the Navy Hydrography Department, announcing a high sea level alert from 5-14 Nov. 68 to prepare for the situation, the agency will be composed of
1. Drainage Bureau, monitor and coordinate with the relevant departments, report the weather conditions to the supervisor, control the planned water level, monitor the construction points that will have an impact on the drainage, ready to provide tools, materials, equipment, power system, pumping stations, pumps and personnel to enter the area immediately.
2. Civil Affairs Bureau Provide tools, materials, equipment, check billboards, construction to stable condition.
3. The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Bureau provides fire engines and rescue equipment, disaster relief tools and equipment, and staff to provide assistance to people suffering from strong winds and flooding problems in various areas.
4. The Ministry of Ministry organizes a patrol car with staff to help the public, flood trouble spots and facilitate traffic by coordinating the district office.
5. Traffic and Transportation Bureau, check and correct the traffic light to normal use, and use CCTV cameras to monitor the area. If there is a flood, a broken tree, a falling billboard, a broken road, immediately notify the relevant unit.

7. The Treasury Bureau organizes the Engine Repair Unit, assists the public, in coordination with the District Office, provides tools, equipment and personnel to the Drainage Bureau, the Civil Works Bureau and the District Office, as requested.
8. Health Bureau, support medicines, medical supplies, equipment materials, organize mobile public health service units, organize mobile medical units.
9. The Bangkok Budget Office supports the sandbag supply budget and resolves the flood problem.
10. The district office organizes a fast-moving unit (Best Unit) and organizes public assistance personnel to facilitate traffic and ensure the neatness of the water protection wall, sandbag line to be stable. If there is a flood in the area and when there is a broken tree, the billboard falls, immediately enter the field.

ในช่วงฤดูพายุไต้ฝุ่นที่ประเทศไทยต้องเผชิญกับฝนตกหนักและน้ำท่วมขังหลายพื้นที่ การเตรียมพร้อมของหน่วยงานกรุงเทพมหานครนั้นเป็นสิ่งจำเป็นอย่างยิ่งเพื่อปกป้องความปลอดภัยของประชาชนและลดผลกระทบต่อชีวิตประจำวัน นอกจากการจัดเตรียมเครื่องมือ อุปกรณ์ และบุคลากรที่กล่าวมาแล้ว เรายังควรตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของการปฏิบัติตามคำแนะนำจากหน่วยงานราชการ เช่น การหลีกเลี่ยงพื้นที่น้ำท่วมขัง หรือพื้นที่ที่มีความเสี่ยงลมกระโชกแรง รวมถึงการจัดเตรียมถุงทรายหรืออุปกรณ์ป้องกันน้ำท่วมในบ้านเรือน อีกทั้งการติดตามข่าวสารจากสำนักประชาสัมพันธ์เพื่อรับข้อมูลอัปเดตสถานการณ์อย่างใกล้ชิด พายุไต้ฝุ่นคัลแมกีไม่ได้ส่งผลกระทบต่อกรุงเทพฯ เท่านั้น แต่ยังมีผลถึงพื้นที่โดยรอบ การเข้าใจถึงแผนการระบายน้ำของกรมชลประทานและการแจ้งเตือนระดับน้ำทะเลหนุนสูงจากกรมอุทกศาสตร์กองทัพเรือจึงเป็นเรื่องสำคัญสำหรับผู้ที่อาศัยอยู่ใกล้กับลำคลองและแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา การเตรียมความพร้อมของสำนักต่าง ๆ เช่น สำนักการระบายน้ำที่ช่วยควบคุมระดับน้ำ สำนักการโยธาที่ตรวจความมั่นคงของสิ่งก่อสร้าง หรือสำนักป้องกันและบรรเทาสาธารณภัยที่จัดเจ้าหน้าที่ให้พร้อมช่วยเหลือในเหตุฉุกเฉิน ล้วนเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญในการสร้างความเชื่อมั่นให้กับประชาชน สถานการณ์น้ำท่วมไม่ได้ส่งผลแค่ทางร่างกายของผู้คน แต่ยังส่งผลกระทบทางด้านสุขภาพ สำนักอนามัยจึงได้เตรียมพร้อมให้บริการสาธารณสุขและหน่วยแพทย์เคลื่อนที่เพื่อดูแลสุขภาพของประชาชนในพื้นที่เสี่ยง นอกจากนี้ ความร่วมมือของประชาชนเองก็มีความสำคัญ เช่น การไม่ทิ้งขยะในลำคลองหรือท่อระบายน้ำเพื่อป้องกันการอุดตันและช่วยลดปัญหาน้ำท่วมขัง ดังนั้น ในช่วงวันที่ 7-9 พฤศจิกายนนี้ การติดตามข่าวสารอย่างต่อเนื่องและปฏิบัติตามคำแนะนำของเจ้าหน้าที่จะช่วยให้ทุกคนปลอดภัยและสามารถผ่านพ้นเหตุการณ์พายุนี้ได้ด้วยดี #กทม #พายุคัลแมกี #น้ำท่วม #ฝนตกหนัก #สำนักการระบายน้ำ #สาธารณภัย #พร้อมรับมือพายุ
