การพัฒนาระบบแจ้งเตือนภัยของกรุงเทพมหานครโดยใช้เทคโนโลยี Cell Broadcast ถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการสื่อสารกับประชาชนในพื้นที่อย่างรวดเร็วและตรงจุด ระบบนี้ช่วยให้สามารถส่งข้อความเตือนภัยได้ทันทีถึงโทรศัพท์เคลื่อนที่ในพื้นที่เป้าหมายโดยไม่ต้องทราบหมายเลขโทรศัพท์แต่ละเครื่อง ซึ่งแตกต่างจาก SMS ทั่วไปที่ต้องส่งทีละเบอร์ ทำให้การแจ้งเตือนมีความรวดเร็วและครอบคลุมมากขึ้น นอกจากนี้ การแบ่งข้อความเตือนภัยเป็นสองประเภทคือ Warning สำหรับภาวะอันตรายสูง และ Informative สำหรับข้อมูลและคำแนะนำทั่วไป เป็นการจัดการเนื้อหาที่เหมาะสมกับสถานการณ์ เพื่อให้ประชาชนเข้าใจและตอบสนองได้ถูกต้อง โดยเฉพาะการแจ้งเตือนฝุ่น PM2.5 ที่เป็นปัญหาสำคัญในกรุงเทพฯ การใช้ใบรับรองบัญชีสีเขียว (Green List) กับรถยนต์ที่ได้รับการตรวจสอบและปล่อยมลพิษต่ำตามมาตรฐาน Low Emission Zone จะช่วยลดแหล่งกำเนิดฝุ่นและผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพของคนในเมืองได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญ การบูรณาการข้อมูลแผนที่และฐานข้อมูลของกรุงเทพมหานคร เช่น เขต, แขวง, ข้อมูลชุมชน รวมถึงข้อมูลสำคัญเช่น ตำแหน่งโรงงาน, ผู้ป่วยติดเตียง และศูนย์พักพิง มาใช้สร้างระบบแจ้งเตือนภัยเฉพาะพื้นที่ผ่าน CBS ยังช่วยทำให้การจัดการภัยพิบัติมีความแม่นยำและตรงเป้าหมายมากขึ้น สามารถประเมินสถานการณ์และส่งคำเตือนตามพื้นที่ที่ได้รับผลกระทบจริง ลดการแจ้งเตือนซ้ำซ้อนและช่วยประชาชนเตรียมพร้อมรับมือได้ทันการณ์ ในภาพรวม ระบบ Cell Broadcast ของกรุงเทพมหานครสื่อสารข้อมูลภัยอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ผนวกแนวทางลดฝุ่น PM2.5 ด้วยสุดยอดเทคโนโลยีและนโยบายที่ชัดเจน เช่น Green List ทำให้เกิดการคุ้มครองสุขภาพและคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชนในเมืองอย่างยั่งยืน อีกทั้งยังเป็นต้นแบบการบริหารจัดการภัยธรรมชาติและปัญหามลพิษในเขตเมืองที่น่าจับตามองและสามารถนำไปปรับใช้ในเมืองอื่นๆ ได้
