🚦 say goodbye to the red light, 12 minutes! BMA uses Adaptive Control, 2 separate connections, Phra Phra Phra Phra Phra Phra Nong-Pridi, compute the car in real time, help traffic flow.
🚦 the deputy governor, Vishnu, and the police department, tracked the use of the Adaptive Control system (automatic traffic light system). The two major intersections are the Monk Nong (Rama 4 intersection) and Sukhumvit 71 (Pridi), formerly known for traffic jams and long red lights.

▪️ faster - the light signal cycle is reduced from 12 minutes to only 6 minutes.
▪️ Relationship - Use CCTV cameras to count the cars in real time and calculate them to separate the release of the vehicles in relation to each other, reducing the end of the row.
▪️ Precise - Adjust the green-red according to the actual car volume. If the car is large, it will immediately increase the green light time.

จากประสบการณ์การใช้ระบบ Adaptive Control ที่แยกพระโขนง-ปรีดีฯ พบว่าสามารถช่วยให้การจราจรไหลลื่นขึ้นอย่างเห็นได้ชัด ก่อนหน้านี้ผมมักต้องรอไฟแดงนานถึง 12 นาที ทำให้เสียเวลามากโดยเฉพาะช่วงเวลาเร่งด่วน แต่หลังจากที่กรุงเทพฯ เริ่มใช้ระบบนี้ ผมสังเกตว่ารอบไฟแดงลดลงเหลือเพียง 6 นาที แถมระบบยังนับจำนวนรถแบบเรียลไทม์ผ่านกล้อง CCTV เพื่อปรับเวลาสัญญาณไฟอย่างแม่นยำตามสภาพจราจรจริง หากมีรถมาก ระบบจะเพิ่มเวลาไฟเขียวทันที ทำให้ลดการติดขัดและท้ายแถวสะสมได้ดีมาก อีกข้อดีที่รู้สึกได้คือความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างสองแยกสำคัญนี้ช่วยให้รถสามารถผ่านทางได้สัมพันธ์กัน ไม่ต้องเจอปัญหารถติดสะสมจากไฟแดงที่ไม่สัมพันธ์กันเหมือนแต่ก่อน นอกจากนั้นยังทำให้ผู้ขับขี่รู้สึกว่าถนนในกรุงเทพฯ ถูกบริหารจัดการอย่างชาญฉลาดและทันสมัยขึ้น ระบบนี้ยังมีตำรวจคอยสแตนด์บายช่วยในกรณีฉุกเฉิน ทำให้มั่นใจได้ว่าถึงแม้จะมีเหตุการณ์ไม่คาดฝัน การจราจรยังคงถูกดูแลอย่างใกล้ชิด ผมเชื่อว่าการติดตั้งระบบ Adaptive Control ในอีกหลายแยกทั่วกรุงจะช่วยปรับปรุงภาพรวมจราจรในกรุงเทพฯ ได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญ และจะเป็นหนึ่งในก้าวสำคัญสู่การบริหารจัดการเมืองที่ชาญฉลาดและตอบโจทย์ผู้ใช้รถใช้ถนนจริงๆ
