The BMA reveals this Valentine with all districts, pointing to the year 68, the wedding peaks receive the first year of marriage equally.
Bangkok spokesman Ekwurthu Amrapal later revealed the Valentine's Day wedding preparation tracking area of Bang Rak and Pathum Wan district offices, stating that Bangkok is very pleased to welcome all couples on the coming day of love. In the last three years, the growth in the number of couples registered on February 14 continued. In 2023, there were 2,604 couples, in 2024, 2,762 couples, and in 2025, the peak reached 3,292.
The BMA broadcaster points out that this significant increase in the 2025 figure is due to the entry into force of the "Marriage Equal" law for the first year since January 23, 2025, which allows LGBTQ + couples to properly register their marriage. From the first effective day of the law to the end of 2025, 6,537 couples have already registered their marriage with the BMA, and the latest total to the end of January 2026 has reached 6,814, reflecting that Bangkok is an area of true acceptance and embrace of all relationships.
"The BMA doesn't just look at the growing numbers, it sees this as the central task of creating a" livable city for everyone "tomorrow. Every district office is fully prepared to serve every couple with equality. Whoever you are, your love is always valued and dignified. We are ready to witness this pivotal moment of life so that everyone can start a family firmly in this city," the BMA said.
For local readiness, the director of the Bang Rak district revealed that this year, the Bang Rak district held an event under the name "Love at Bang Rak @ Bangrak" at the JTC. Despite the intensification of the activity, it remained warm and focused on couples of all ages. There was also an exhibition of honor in His Majesty's love story. For its part, the director of Pathum One revealed the event under the name "EVERLASTING LOVE Eternity @ Pathum One" at NEXTOPIA, 5th floor, Siam Paragon, that this year emphasizes the concept of sustainable love along with environmental attention. The Pathum One district wants all couples to feel that you can say love and care for each other every day, not just Valentine's Day. Good love must start from today and grow sustainably together, just like the concept of "Eternity" that we intend to create this area as the beginning of a stable and friendly future for the world. We are ready to serve all couples with hearts. So that every relationship lasts and is gorgeous along with our city.
