Governor Shachchan sealed the stock exchange, pushed "no total," separating the entire city's waste, ready to deal with energy risks.
Governor Chachchan joins Climate Care Talk: Knowing the waste management measures of Bangkok's "non-total project," saying that the BMA pushes waste separation from the source to reduce landfills and reduce greenhouse gases, because large amounts of waste can still be recycled or recycled if not mixed with wet waste, with incentives for the public to separate waste through waste collection fees from the original 20 baht to 60 baht per month, but if households separate waste and register through the app, they will still pay the same rate of 20 baht, while the business sector will adjust the waste rate according to the amount of waste to stimulate waste management in the enterprise.
Governor Shachchan also mentioned energy risks that the BMA has prepared a plan to support oil shortages because the city's mission requires a large number of cars, especially over 2,000 garbage collectors, including ambulances, fire trucks, and water trucks, to coordinate oil vendors to back up fuel for important city missions, and to gradually adapt some garbage collectors to electric trains to reduce future fuel dependence.
According to the Stock Exchange of Thailand, it has developed the Climate Care Platform to help organizations store data and calculate greenhouse gas reductions. Over 1,000 organizations are currently participating, and by 2025 it can manage over 14,077 tons of waste, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 19,621 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, in line with Bangkok's "non-total" approach to landfill waste reduction and promoting sustainable waste management.
จากประสบการณ์ที่ได้ติดตามโครงการแยกขยะในชุมชน ผมเห็นว่าการส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนมีส่วนร่วมในโครงการ ‘ไม่เทรวม’ คือกุญแจสำคัญที่จะทำให้ระบบจัดการขยะของกรุงเทพฯ มีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น อย่างแรกคือการสร้างความตระหนักรู้ว่าขยะเปียกและขยะแห้งต้องถูกแยกออกจากกันเพื่อเพิ่มโอกาสในการรีไซเคิลและลดปริมาณขยะฝังกลบ ซึ่งนอกจากจะช่วยลดก๊าซเรือนกระจกแล้ว ยังช่วยลดภาระงานของเจ้าหน้าที่เก็บขยะ นอกจากนี้ การปรับค่าธรรมเนียมเก็บขยะเพื่อเป็นแรงจูงใจให้ครัวเรือนแยกขยะและลงทะเบียนผ่านแอปฯ ถือเป็นแนวทางที่ฉลาด เพราะส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนเกิดความร่วมมือโดยไม่รู้สึกเป็นภาระเกินไป อีกทั้งยังสะท้อนถึงแนวคิดการจัดการขยะในรูปแบบเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนที่ต้องการให้ขยะถูกนำมาใช้ประโยชน์ใหม่อย่างสูงสุด ในส่วนของการรับมือความเสี่ยงทางพลังงาน การเตรียมสำรองน้ำมันสำหรับรถเก็บขยะและรถบริการสาธารณสุขถือเป็นเรื่องจำเป็น เพราะภารกิจเหล่านี้ส่งผลโดยตรงต่อความสะอาดและความปลอดภัยของเมือง อีกทั้งการวางแผนเปลี่ยนรถเก็บขยะบางส่วนเป็นรถไฟฟ้าจะช่วยลดการพึ่งพาเชื้อเพลิงฟอสซิลและลดมลพิษทางอากาศได้อย่างยั่งยืน สุดท้าย การที่ตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทยพัฒนา Climate Care Platform เพื่อให้เครือองค์กรมีเครื่องมือในการจัดเก็บข้อมูลและประเมินผลการลดก๊าซเรือนกระจกถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญของระบบนิเวศการจัดการขยะที่ครอบคลุมและโปร่งใส ซึ่งจะช่วยผลักดันให้ประเทศไทยก้าวสู่การบริหารจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืนมากขึ้นในอนาคต
