BMA Upgrade BMA Command Center 24 Hours of Security, Removing Earthquake Anniversary Lessons, Confident Today Ready Than That Day

According to BMA Command Center, for a while, it was not complete, an attempt by Bangkok to better manage safety in the wake of last year's earthquake, in which the public was concerned about the stability and safety of the building, but only one building collapsed, and the other two buildings were not engineering strong, and Bangkok was not silent, and Bangkok reviewed the safety measures, inspected the building, and had the construction engineer to be careful.

According to Twida, the development of specialized personnel and rescue teams in Bangkok has enhanced the capacity of the USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) team of the Bureau of Disaster Prevention and Relief, which is certified to the Medium Team standard by international guidelines, along with the development of "Motorlance," or fast-moving medical units, to be a highly mobile Hybrid force with timely access to cramped areas or traffic jams.
Reinforce infrastructure, integrate technology into intelligent management, accelerate the city's safety net, aim for the construction of five additional fire and rescue stations by 68-70, from the original 43 to spread power to cover vulnerable areas, the adoption of Side Sensor technology to measure the inclination of post-disaster buildings, to assess safety before entering operations, and elevate the "BKK Risk Map" to a central database that integrates data from all 50 districts, identifying vulnerable groups such as the bedridden and disabled, to ensure accurate and timely rescue.
Water management has developed a "Digital & Smart Drainage" system coupled with an Early Warning System through weather radar, sensors and rain monitors, linked to a SCADA system that can control drainage gates and pumping stations from the center in real time.
The Traffic Section has developed ITS Systems to enhance road safety, such as Adaptive Control, CCTV with AI Analytics, and a digital map system that displays emergency unit locations in real time, all linked to the center for efficient command.
Bangkok is also moving forward to upgrade Data Sharing in partnership with all sectors, linking over 65,000 CCTV cameras across Bangkok to the AI system, piloting the Sandbox project in partnership with the Central Police Investigation Command (CIB) in key tourist areas to enhance real-time security.
Volunteer Section Aims by 2026 for all units to fully organize and classify Skill Mapping to provide proper, on-the-spot and most effective command in real-world situations with ongoing virtual response drills.
