ถ้าคุณกำลังหารีวิว “หนังสือใช้แรงทำเงิน ให้เงินทำงาน” เพื่อดูว่าควรซื้อไหม หรืออ่านแล้วจะได้อะไรบ้าง เราว่าจุดแข็งของเล่มนี้คือ “จัดระเบียบความคิดการเงิน” แบบอ่านแล้วทำตามได้ทันที ไม่ได้พาไปเก็งหุ้นหรือบอกสูตรรวยเร็ว แต่พากลับมาที่ 3 เรื่องใหญ่ ๆ คือ การหาเงิน การใช้เงิน และการลงทุน (ซึ่งเห็นชัดตั้งแต่หน้าปกเลย) สิ่งที่เราเพิ่มหลังอ่านจบ (และอยากแชร์เป็นเช็กลิสต์) คือการเริ่มทำระบบ “เก็บก่อนใช้” ให้เป็นอัตโนมัติ ตอนเป็น First Jobber เรามักคิดว่าเดี๋ยวเหลือค่อยเก็บ แต่สุดท้ายไม่เคยเหลือจริง ๆ วิธีที่เวิร์กคือ ตั้งโอนอัตโนมัติวันเงินเดือนเข้า แยกบัญชีเงินเก็บ/เงินลงทุนออกจากบัญชีใช้จ่าย แล้วค่อยใช้จากก้อนที่เหลือ เท่านี้พฤติกรรมเริ่มเปลี่ยนแบบไม่ต้องฝืนมาก อีกหัวข้อที่ชอบมากคือแนวคิด “สมุดดึงสติ” (ในสารบัญมีพูดถึง) เราลองทำเป็นบันทึกสั้น ๆ ทุกครั้งก่อนซื้อของชิ้นใหญ่ โดยเขียน 3 คำถาม: 1) ซื้อเพราะจำเป็นหรืออารมณ์ 2) ถ้าไม่ซื้อวันนี้ ชีวิตแย่ลงไหม 3) เงินก้อนนี้ถ้าเอาไปลงทุน 1–3 ปีจะกลายเป็นเท่าไร ผลคือเราหยุดช้อปตามใจได้เยอะ และรู้สึกคุมเงินได้จริง เรื่องการออม/ดอกเบี้ยก็เป็นอีกจุดที่อ่านแล้ว “เห็นภาพ” โดยเฉพาะตัวอย่างเปรียบเทียบบัญชีออมทรัพย์กับ e-Savings และการฝากแบบรายเดือนยาว ๆ ทำให้เราเข้าใจว่า ดอกเบี้ยต่างกันนิดเดียว แต่ทบต้นระยะยาวต่างกันมาก หลังจากนั้นเราเลยไปเช็กดอกเบี้ยบัญชีที่ใช้อยู่ แล้วแยกเงินสำรองฉุกเฉินไปไว้ในบัญชีที่ให้ผลตอบแทนดีกว่า (แต่ยังถอนได้ง่าย) เพื่อให้เงินไม่ไหลทิ้งไปกับดอกเบี้ยต่ำเกินจำเป็น สุดท้าย เล่มนี้ทำให้เรากลับมามอง “หนี้” แบบจริงจังขึ้น ถ้ามีหนี้ดอกสูง เป้าหมายแรกไม่ใช่ลงทุนให้เก่ง แต่คือเคลียร์หนี้ให้ไหลลื่นก่อน (เพราะผลตอบแทนการปิดหนี้ดอกสูง มักชนะการลงทุนทั่วไป) เราใช้วิธีลิสต์หนี้ทั้งหมด ดอกเท่าไร ขั้นต่ำเท่าไร แล้วเลือกโฟกัสปิดก้อนดอกสูงก่อน ควบคู่กับการกันเงินออมเล็ก ๆ เพื่อไม่ให้กลับไปก่อหนี้ซ้ำ โดยรวม ถ้าคุณกำลังตัดสินใจซื้อ “ใช้แรงทำเงิน ให้เงินทำงาน” เราว่าเหมาะมากกับคนเริ่มทำงาน/คนที่รู้สึกเงินเดือนเข้าแล้วหาย และคนที่อยากเริ่มลงทุนแต่ยังอยากปูพื้นฐานให้แน่น อ่านจบแล้วลองทำ 1 อย่างก่อน เช่น เก็บก่อนใช้ + แยกบัญชี แล้วค่อยต่อยอดไปสเต็ปลงทุน จะเห็นผลไวและมีกำลังใจทำต่อจริง ๆ
