"Dew grass" herbaceous plants are insect-eating plants.

Dew grass or other names, such as dew drip, cold fifth month, Ma Fai fifth month, Yong Fai grass, has the scientific name of Droseraceae.

It is a small herbaceous plant. The young trunk stretches along the ground, about 5-25 centimeters high. The trunk skin is covered with clear hairs throughout the trunk.

Amazingly, dew grass is an insect-eating plant, using the beauty of a long, slender leaf about 2-7 centimeters, a curled tip with red hair all over the leaf, and a clear, sticky gland, shiny like a dew drop at dawn, to lure insects into the trap.

Beautiful, purple or pink blossoms, in which the blossoms bloom in the morning, and valley in the afternoon, flowering during October to December; dew grass naturally occurring are found along meadows, open spaces, relatively damp or waterlogged rocky courtyards.

Dew grass also has herbal properties. The traditional medicine texts in the northeast use dried trees for drinking liquor, diarrhea and hepatitis. The fresh tree is crushed to fix eczema. The whole Thai medicine book is used to boil drinking water, nourish the elements. The leaves are used to boil drinking water to nourish the heart, drive bones, drive parasites, cure hepatitis, use outside to fix eczema.
