Teaching my 6 month old

Teaching your little ones basic sign language to communicate before they start speaking in my experience is one of the most helpful ways to cut out a lot of whining and frustration. It worked wonders with my first born! Now with my second I plan to do the same! Our little ones can become so frustrated when they can’t use their words to tell us what they want. Sign language is an amazing tool and great way to keep your little ones brains engaged! 🤟

... Read moreTeaching sign language to infants has gained popularity as an excellent communication method. It can help alleviate the frustrations that come when babies are unable to articulate their needs verbally. Signs like 'more,' 'eat,' and 'please' become part of their early vocabulary, making interactions more meaningful. Studies suggest that early sign language exposure may bolster cognitive and language development, as it encourages infants to think and process information. Furthermore, using sign language can create a stronger bond between caregivers and babies since it fosters a sense of understanding and connection. Integrating games and repetitive practice into your routine can also make learning sign language enjoyable for both you and your child. For parents looking for resources, many books and online videos are available to illustrate signs. With patience and consistent practice, your little ones can communicate effectively, reducing anxiety and tantrums caused by misunderstandings. Start your signing journey today to open up a world of communication!
