避難所での生活は、非常時にもかかわらず女性が直面する特有の悩みや困難が多くあります。特にプライバシーの問題は、家族や地域の「善意」という名の同調圧力によって簡単に侵害されてしまうことが多いです。私自身、以前に避難所に滞在した経験があり、着替えや授乳の際に仕切りがないため非常にストレスを感じたことがあります。家族だからといって個々のプライバシーを尊重しない雰囲気が蔓延しているのです。 もうひとつ問題なのは、助けを求める声が「地域の恥」として否定されたり、非難の的になることです。避難所運営側が正当なSOSを裏切り者扱いすることもあり、精神的な負担が非常に大きくなります。こうした環境では、助けが必要でも声を出せない女性も多いでしょう。 こうした現実を踏まえ、防災士として私はまず「自分の尊厳を守る備え」を強く推奨します。具体的には、耳栓やアイマスクで物理的なバリアを作ること、そして心の境界線を引き、周囲に流されすぎない心構えが重要です。また、事前に避難所の環境やルールを調べておくことも自分や家族を守る準備になります。私もそうした準備をすることで、避難所での心理的負担が少し軽減されました。 実録に基づきAIで再現された画像などを活用し、目に見えにくい避難所での問題を明らかにする取り組みも注目すべきです。これらの情報は、避難経験がない方にも実態を理解しやすくし、今後の防災対策や支援体制の改善につながると感じています。避難所での理不尽な格差や同調圧力を知り、正しい備えをすることが大切です。自分と大切な人の尊厳を守るため、ぜひ一度見直してみてください。
