Well I finally got around to get the matching body butters for the new vanilla collections: Vanilla Cafe and Vanilla Ease (I already made a post of the Fragrance mist a good week ago to check out on my page ) …the past couple of years I’ve been into a lot of skin/body care specifically body butter and body oils & my skin is thanking me for it all! These body butters from BBW are getting better and better with its moisturizing agents ..
But Let’s get into it..
VANILLA CAFE: If you love the fragrance mist you gonna LOVEEE the body butter..think of a hazelnut Cappuccino ☕️ with a shot of expresso & vanilla cream in a cafe shop in the city .. 🏙️ ..I’ve always been a fan of coffee/yummy scents ; it smells warm, inviting, and edible.. this will be great to use for the fall but I’m gonna start early because I love Fall..
VANILLA EASE: this is slowly becoming a fav that I am sooo surprised! At first this was reminding me of lavender vanilla in the aromatherapy section but this one is more lavender in a crisp way with the Lavender Blossom notes. It smells
Medicated at first However when I applied it actually reminds me of TOGETHER WEATHER IYKYK.. it’s sweet and warm yet calming oddly with that sandalwood note… I can see this being worn all year long.. in fact I’m wearing it now and cannot stop touching & sniffing myself …
I can’t help it; I’m a Taurus ♉️ and very sensual 😅

... Read moreOkay, so we've talked about the incredible scents of the new Bath & Body Works Vanilla Cafe and Vanilla Ease body butters, but let's really dive deeper into what makes these new additions stand out in my daily routine. I've been a huge fan of incorporating body butters and oils into my skincare, and these two have quickly earned a permanent spot on my vanity. The 6.5 oz / 185 g jars are a decent size, offering good value for the quality you get.
Let's start with Vanilla Cafe Body Butter. Beyond just a hazelnut cappuccino, I pick up subtle hints of caramel and perhaps a touch of roasted coffee bean. It's not overly sweet or cloying, but rather a sophisticated gourmand that truly warms up on your skin as you wear it. The texture is incredibly rich and creamy, absorbing beautifully without leaving a greasy residue – a must for me! I find the scent lingers for a good 4-6 hours, especially if I apply it right after a shower. For anyone who loves warm, edible scents, this is an absolute must-try. I've been layering it with a simple vanilla or coffee-scented body mist, and it creates an absolutely decadent aura that's perfect for a crisp fall day, or even just a cozy evening at home.
Now for Vanilla Ease Body Butter, which truly surprised me. While the initial lavender note might seem strong, it quickly settles into a beautifully balanced, almost ethereal blend. The 'crisp' lavender blossom combined with that comforting sandalwood creates a serene and clean vanilla experience, unlike anything else I’ve tried from B&BW. It’s less 'sleepy' lavender and more 'fresh spa' lavender, making it incredibly versatile. The consistency is just as luxurious as Vanilla Cafe, providing deep hydration that lasts all day. What I love most about Vanilla Ease is its versatility; it’s light enough for daytime yet calming enough for an evening wind-down. It truly reminds me of a sophisticated aromatherapy blend, and I’ve even noticed my skin feeling softer and looking more supple since I started using it regularly.
For anyone looking to maximize hydration, I always recommend applying body butter to damp skin right after a shower or bath. This helps to lock in moisture, making the product even more effective. These Bath & Body Works body butters are packed with moisturizing agents, and you can truly feel the difference. They're not just about the scent; they're about giving your skin that extra love and nourishment it deserves.
Considering the generous 6.5 oz / 185 g size of each jar, I feel these body butters offer fantastic value. A little goes a long way, and the quality of the moisturization is top-notch. If you’re like me and your skin tends to get dry, especially with seasonal changes, investing in good body butter like these is a game-changer. Have you tried layering these scents with other products? I’d love to hear your favorite combinations!
