学年末の持ち帰り品整理は、ただ捨てるのではなく、子どもと一緒に判断する機会として大切にしています。うちの場合、特に教科書やノートの扱いで工夫しており、中学生の長女には「このノートは次も使う？使わない？」と本人に選ばせることで、整理の考え方を自然に身につけさせています。小学生の次女は先生からの指示と過去1年分に限定して保管し、それ以外は感謝して処分することを伝えています。このルールを決めることで、必要なものだけを残せて散らかりにくくなりました。 鍵盤ハーモニカも意外と忘れがちですが、急に合奏で使うこともあるため、小学校卒業までは残しておくと安心です。作品の収納は「作品収納ボックス タワー」を活用し、箱に入る分だけの保管にして、年度末に見直しをして持ち帰ります。これにより、過去の作品を無理なく循環でき、思い出も大事にできます。 また、学用品の準備は子どもと一緒に行うことがコツ。上履きや体操着のサイズ確認は実際に試着し、絵の具や色鉛筆は子ども自身に不足をチェックしてもらっています。こうして早めに買い足せば、新学期の準備が整い、慌てずに済みます。さらに、雑巾は新学期直前に売り切れになることがあるため、早めに購入しておくのがおすすめです。 このように持ち帰り品の整理・保管・補充を計画的に行うと、学用品が整い心も軽やかに新学年を迎えられました。皆さんも無理なく続けられるルールを作って、春休みのうちに準備を進めてみてはいかがでしょうか？
