When was the last time u made time for yourself?

“Where got time…”

I think many adults quietly say this to themselves alot nowadays.

Yesterday evening, I went out to sea to photograph the Black-naped Terns at Loyang Rocks.

It’s the season where they start laying eggs, building nests, and setting up their little families. In about 3 weeks, the chicks will slowly grow and learn to fly on their own.

Years back I only went in the morning. Glad this time I had the opportunity to go in the evening instead and managed to catch the sunset too.

Being out there somehow reminded me how easy it is for adults to slowly stop making time for the things we once enjoyed.

Not coz we no longer love doing them.

But coz life slowly becomes filled with routines, responsibilities, work, and many other things occupying our minds everyday.

That’s also one reason why flexibility has become more important to me as I grow older.

And I think this digital business journey came into my life at the right time too.

Not coz life suddenly became easy.

But coz it gave me another option to slowly build alongside life, instead of always waiting for “one day when I finally have time.”

Really thankful & grateful to God for that.

How about u?

Have u also stopped making time for the things u once enjoyed?

... Read moreTaking time for yourself can often feel like an impossible task amidst the daily hustle of work and responsibilities. However, experiences like going out to photograph Black-naped Terns at Loyang Rocks highlight the value of these moments. Observing these birds during their nesting season at sunset reveals not only nature’s beauty but also reminds us of the importance of slowing down and reconnecting with what we love. From my experience, evening trips offer a different perspective and tranquility that daytime outings might miss. The golden hour light and the peaceful sea breeze provide a calming backdrop not just for photography but for personal reflection. It’s these pauses outside our busy lives that recharge our creativity and mental well-being. Incorporating flexibility into your lifestyle, such as engaging in digital business ventures or other pursuits that allow you to set your own pace, can be a game changer. This way, instead of waiting for a mythical “free day,” you gradually build your passions around your existing commitments. It makes personal time less of a luxury and more of a natural part of life. If you find yourself frequently saying, “Where got time?” remember that even small pockets of time spent on activities you enjoy can have significant positive effects. Whether it’s a walk, a hobby, or simply watching a sunset, these moments nurture your happiness and personal growth. So, when was the last time you made time for yourself? Maybe it’s time to plan that evening out or start small with something you’ve overlooked. Life’s routines don’t have to eclipse your joys; with a bit of flexibility and intention, you can reclaim your time and enrich your day-to-day experience.

When was the last time you chose yourself?
Lately I’ve been thinking about this… 🤍 When was the last time you did something just for yourself? Not for work. Not for family. Not because you had to. Just… for you. I’m slowly learning that taking care of myself isn’t selfish, it’s necessary. And maybe that’s something we all ne
