Come Back Strong
I AM OK…🙌🏽
This has been me for the past two days…
Sometimes GOD will sit you down when He knows you’ve done enough. He sees that you’ve been carrying more than your share, and maybe it’s time others recognize your worth.
Remember: we all have one job to take care of ourselves. 🙌🏽
Listen to your body it will tell you everything you need to know.
Sometimes we get so caught up in everyone else’s pain, problems, and responsibilities that we push our own health to the back burner. But let me remind you your health matters too.
If something feels off, don’t ignore it. Don’t push through it. Don’t “tough it out” just to keep up appearances.
It’s okay…….
✔️ To call out of work when your body needs rest
✔️ To miss an event so you can heal
✔️ To take a step back and reset
Doing what’s best for YOU is not weakness it’s self-respect.
I’ve never been one to use my ailments as a crutch, but I’ve learned that ignoring them doesn’t make me strong it just delays my healing.
So stop feeling guilty.
Stop over-explaining.
Stop apologizing for taking care of YOU.
Heal, Rest, and Come back stronger.
From personal experience, I've found that the journey to healing and coming back stronger truly begins when I allow myself permission to pause. It's easy to fall into the trap of pushing through fatigue or emotional overwhelm just to appear resilient, but this actually prolongs recovery. I've learned to listen closely to my body's signals — whether it's persistent tiredness, frequent headaches, or muscle tension — as these often reveal deeper stress that needs addressing. Taking time off work or missing social gatherings initially felt uncomfortable and even guilty, but embracing these moments as vital for rest transformed my mindset. I started viewing self-care not as indulgence or weakness, but as an essential practice of self-respect. Simple acts like prioritizing quality sleep, hydrating well, and engaging in gentle movement like yoga or walking helped accelerate my healing. Another critical shift was setting boundaries—saying no to extra commitments when my energy was low, and communicating openly about my needs without over-explaining. This honesty fosters not only personal recovery but also encourages others around you to respect your well-being. It's also important to address emotional and spiritual health. Reflecting through journaling or meditation provided clarity and calmness, helping me reconnect with my inner strength. Remember, healing is a process, and it is perfectly okay to take multiple steps back before stepping forward again. Ultimately, prioritizing your health empowers you to face challenges with renewed energy and resilience. By choosing to heal and rest, you're investing in a stronger, healthier version of yourself ready to engage fully with life’s demands.
