Bond builders & Protein treatments

MY 4C GURLYS. it's very important to incorporate bond builders and protein treatments into your natural hair journey because both of these treatments are going to keep your hair strain stronge, which equals less breakage. you my have a solid hair routine but you keep asking yourself, why is my hair breaking off. it's because your hair bonds are weak and you don't have protein . Take your time and read each page and try to do a protein/bond treatment when needed. if you use heat a lot bond treatment if your hair is weak and breaks off easily protein treatments. you can assess your hair every month.

... Read moreIncorporating bond builders and protein treatments is crucial for 4C hair, especially when dealing with natural hair care. Bond builders work by repairing broken disulfide bonds in the hair strands, while protein treatments help to replace or enhance the protein levels. Both treatments play a significant role in preventing damage from heat styling and chemical processes. High porosity hair, which often suffers from weakened bonds, can greatly benefit from these treatments. For example, using products like Olaplex or K18 can significantly improve hair's resilience against heat and environmental stressors. Regular use of these treatments can enhance moisture retention, making your curls more manageable and less prone to split ends. It’s important to assess your hair regularly to determine whether it needs a bond builder or a protein treatment. Signs of damage often include increased breakage, dryness, and a lack of elasticity. A well-balanced regimen that includes both protein and moisture is essential to meet your hair's unique needs. To maximize the benefits, consider adding deep conditioning steps and hydrating products to your routine. This targeted approach will not only improve the overall health of your hair but also promote stronger length retention. Remember to listen to your hair; pay attention to how it feels after treatments and adjust accordingly to maintain optimal health. Regular assessments and a balanced routine can redefine your hair care experience.
