Yara🤍•20/10•citrusy, sweet and powdery 🎀

I recently got my hands on the much-talked-about YARA Lattafa perfume, specifically the iconic pink bottle, and I've been living with it for a while now. When I first sprayed it, I was immediately hit by that delightful citrusy, sweet, and powdery aroma. It's a scent that instantly makes you feel feminine and cheerful, perfect for a 'girlsgirl' vibe. The initial burst has a bright, almost fruity sweetness, which then settles into a warm, comforting powdery embrace. I find it surprisingly sophisticated for its price point. However, like many, I did notice that the Eau de Parfum version, while absolutely gorgeous, seemed to fade a bit quicker than I'd hoped – around two hours, as mentioned. But don't let that deter you! I've experimented a bit and found some tricks to boost its staying power. Firstly, moisturizing my skin before applying any fragrance really helps. A simple unscented lotion creates a better base for the perfume to cling to. I also like to spray a little on my clothes, as fabric tends to hold scents much longer than skin. For an even more intense and longer-lasting experience with this beautiful YARA Lattafa scent, layering is key. This is where the YARA perfume oil truly shines. I absolutely concur that the perfume oil lasts a long time and smells divine. Its alcohol-free formulation means it sits closer to the skin and diffuses more slowly, giving you that beautiful soft, sweet smell for hours on end, often eight hours or more on me! I apply the roll-on oil to my pulse points – wrists, neck, and behind the ears – before spraying the EDP. This combination is a game-changer. The oil provides a deep, long-lasting base, and then the EDP adds that beautiful, airy projection. If you're looking for value, the oil is incredibly affordable and delivers incredible performance. It’s like having two versions of the same gorgeous scent, each with its own strengths. The YARA pink perfume is, in my opinion, incredibly versatile. Its sweet and slightly playful nature makes it ideal for daytime wear, whether you're heading to brunch with friends, running errands, or even for a casual day at the office. It's not overpowering, so it won't offend sensitive noses. I also love wearing it in spring and summer because of its bright, uplifting qualities, but the powdery dry-down gives it enough warmth to transition beautifully into cooler months, making it a year-round staple. If you're someone who loves gourmand-leaning fragrances with a touch of freshness and a cozy finish, you absolutely need to try this.
