100 words a day!

How I write over 100 words per day.

Typically, I work a 9-5 and by the end of it i’m exhausted. What works for me when trying to hit a mark a day, I turn all the lights off until it’s just me and my computer. I blast music correlating to the book. Jot down key points of the scene and let the words flow out.

Everyone is different when coming to this. There’s a lot of challenges of trying to write like a specific author and i love them. It helps people get motivated without feeling the pressure. #writingandblogging #writinganovel #writingstyle #writingexperience #booksoflemon8 #booktok #lemon8diarychallenge

Here are some tips to help you stay on track: 1. **Create a Dedicated Space**: Find a quiet place where you can write without distractions. This can be a cozy corner in your house or even a local cafe. The important part is that it feels comfortable and inspires creativity. 2. **Set a Routine**: Write at the same time each day to develop a consistent habit. Whether it’s early morning or late at night, find a routine that works for you. 3. **Use Writing Prompts**: If you’re struggling with direction, prompts can help initiate your writing. These can be found online or created from your own experiences. 4. **Warm-up Exercises**: Before diving into your main writing, consider spending a few minutes free writing or journaling. This gets your creative juices flowing. 5. **Limit Distractions**: Turn off notifications and minimize distractions. Consider using apps that help limit your time on social media while writing. 6. **Track Your Progress**: Use tools to track your word count. This not only motivates you but also helps you set realistic targets based on your progress. Celebrate small victories, as each completed piece is a step forward in your writing journey. Incorporating these strategies can transform your writing practice, leading to increased productivity and creativity.
