PC Build and Cost $1,200 PART 2

Are you looking for inspiration or ideas to build your PC? As someone who freshly just purchased the parts and built my own PC, it took me a lot of time to figure out what I wanted to do and something that was within my own budget! A lot of people will criticize you for your build but at the end of the day it is what YOU want to create and what works for YOU!

Here are some of the other parts I have added to my $1,200 build:

1. Nzxt Kraken Elite 280mm: This was around $150 and make sure the 280mm will fit whatever case you have! Mine is the Nzxt h6 Flow and it was perfectly fine.

2. GPU is a Gigabyte 4060 RTX Aero: This was the most expensive part of my build and is $315. I liked the style of the graphics card and it was within my budget and what fit with my parts!

3. 980 PRO Samsung SSD Card: This is super important for storing your files on your PC, make sure you figure out if 1tb is enough and I recommend not skimping out on a good brand, I went with Samsung because I find them reputable and trusted

... Read moreHey everyone! Building your own PC is such a rewarding experience, and I've learned so much on my journey. While my previous post covered some key components, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into some questions and choices you might face, especially if you're eyeing a setup like mine. First off, let's talk about the big question: build vs. prebuilt PCs. I know many of you search for "prebuilt components," and it's a valid path! For me, building allowed for ultimate customization and a better understanding of what goes into my machine. Prebuilts are great for convenience, especially if time is short or you're new to PC gaming. However, building yourself often gives you more bang for your buck and lets you pick exactly the parts you want, like my white PC setup with its cool RGB lighting. You get to control the aesthetics and performance without compromises. Plus, the satisfaction of turning it on for the first time? Priceless! Speaking of specific components, my NZXT Kraken Elite 280mm AIO cooler has been a game-changer. Many of you are looking into "AIO builds" or "NZXT Kraken Elite white builds," and for good reason! An AIO (All-In-One liquid cooler) offers superior cooling performance compared to traditional air coolers, especially for higher-end CPUs, keeping temperatures low during intense gaming sessions. The Kraken Elite, particularly in white, really complements my white build theme and its display adds a fantastic personal touch. When installing an AIO, remember to check your case's compatibility, just like I did with my NZXT H6 Flow. Proper radiator and fan placement are key for optimal airflow and cooling efficiency. It’s definitely worth the effort for that sleek look and top-tier cooling. Next up, the graphics card. My Gigabyte 4060 Aero RTX graphics card was a budget-conscious choice that fit my needs. When you're researching "graphics card pc build," it's easy to get overwhelmed. My advice? Define your budget and your primary use. Are you playing AAA games at 1440p, or mostly competitive esports titles at 1080p? The RTX 4060 is fantastic for 1080p gaming and even some 1440p with DLSS. Consider the VRAM (Video RAM) – for modern gaming, 8GB is a good starting point, but more is always better if your budget allows. Don't forget to check benchmarks for the games you play most to see how different cards perform. Finally, for those planning their own custom PC, I highly recommend PCPartPicker. I saw queries about "pcpartpicker website interface," and it's truly an invaluable tool. It lets you select all your components, from your CPU and GPU to your Samsung 980 PRO 1TB SSD, and automatically checks for compatibility issues (like if your CPU socket matches your motherboard, or if your power supply is strong enough!). It also helps you track prices across different retailers, ensuring you get the best deals for each part of your build. It was crucial for me to stay within my $1200 budget and make sure everything would work together seamlessly. Using PCPartPicker saves so much headache and ensures your build goes smoothly from planning to power-up! Happy building!
