When did you find out you were pregnant?
I lost my nana in August to Alzheimer’s.
She would have been so happy!
We miss her down here. I was happy to lean into her casket and tell her I was going to have her great grandbaby, in the heart breaking moment of having to say goodbye. I believe in my heart she heard me and she is watching over me and my baby. 🤍 she is missed dearly.
I got to say though, the timing was so strange. But learning I was pregnant really helped me get through this difficult time.
Pregnancy can come about at the most unexpected times, intertwining the joy of new life with the sorrow of loss. Many people experience a mix of emotions when they find out they are expecting, particularly when it coincides with significant life events. Whether it’s a grandparent's passing or a major life transition, the journey of pregnancy revolves around hope, love, and remembrance. Sharing personal experiences through platforms like Lemon8 can offer comfort to others in similar situations. With hashtags like #pregnancyjourney and #alzheimers, individuals can connect and support one another amidst their struggles and celebrations. It's critical to communicate these emotions, as they contribute to our understanding of life, family, and resilience. The journey to parenthood is often fraught with mixed emotions, and sharing these stories can help bring understanding and healing to those who are also navigating these complex experiences.

I’m sorry for the loss of your nana but blessed be to God that he blessed you with a child at the same time. I found out I was pregnant late June! I’m expecting beginning of March. Love to you momma 🤍
