Summer Baking With Toddlers

When it’s hot outside, one of our favorite inside activities is baking! We found GoNanas a couple of months ago and we LOVE their mixes! I grabbed a pack to try because they are made with minimal ingredients, but they are also great if you are gluten or dairy free! I use their mixes as a base for lots of desserts, like these cheesecake cups!

My kids are obsessed with making their banana bread mixes. You only have to add bananas, 2 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp of any milk, and 1 tbsp maple syrup! So easy to make, especially for my little ones!

For these, I’ve added our recipe on the last slide! Such an easy and delicious way to get a brownie cheesecake vibe! Perfect for summer!

Grab some to try, and use code LITTLEKINGS to save on your order!

... Read moreSummer baking is a wonderful opportunity to bond with your kids while introducing them to the joys of creating. Utilizing GoNanas gluten-free and dairy-free mixes can make the process smooth and enjoyable. These baking mixes require just a few simple ingredients like ripe bananas, oil, milk, and maple syrup, which are easy for toddlers to measure and blend. The No-Bake Chocolate Cheesecake Cups are a highlight, offering a delicious taste without the hassle of baking. By combining a banana bread base with a creamy cheesecake filling, you’ll create a delightful dessert that can be customized with toppings like strawberry jam. Make it even more interactive by letting the kids swirl toppings into the cream cheese mixture—this adds an engaging element to the activity and encourages creativity. Don’t forget to encourage your little chefs to take charge—this will build their confidence in the kitchen. You might also explore other summer-friendly recipes, such as fruit-based desserts and no-bake treats, which are great options on hot days. Gathering all ingredients and tools beforehand can help minimize mess and distractions, ensuring a fun baking time. So grab those GoNanas mixes, and let the summer baking adventures begin!
