GOD never promised ease—He promised His presence.
The modern world sells a counterfeit faith: one that seeks comfort, ease, and quick fixes. But biblical FAITH is not about escaping hardship—it's about enduring it with unwavering confidence in the SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD.
"For we walk by faith, not by sight."
— 2 Corinthians 5:7
True FAITH is rooted not in outcomes, but in WHO GOD IS—holy, just, merciful, and utterly faithful. FAITH believes GOD even when the path is dark, the trial is long, and the cost is great.
FAITH obeys GOD when it hurts.
FAITH trusts GOD when nothing makes sense.
FAITH follows CHRIST even unto death.
Jesus never said, “Follow Me, and life will be easy.” He said,
“If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me.”
— Luke 9:23
To take up your cross is to die to yourself—daily. This is not ease. This is war. But it’s in that war FAITH proves its worth.
“Without faith it is impossible to please GOD.”
— Hebrews 11:6
FAITH looks to the unseen, trusts the eternal, and clings to the promises of GOD no matter the cost. It made Abraham leave everything. It made Moses forsake Egypt. It made Daniel face lions and the apostles face martyrdom.
FAITH does not remove the fire; it walks into it—believing that GOD walks there too.
You will not float to glory on the winds of ease, but you will stand by FAITH—because GOD IS FAITHFUL.
So choose this day: Will you live by what’s easy—or by what’s eternally true?
Only one leads to life. The other ends in ruin.
“Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of GOD.”
— Acts 14:22
Count the cost. Embrace the cross. Walk by FAITH.
GOD is worthy.
