Chongqing hidden gem cafe Totomato ☕️

Found this hidden gem on xiaohongshu and was extremely pleased with the aesthetics of the cafe and the drink Apple Cappucino 苹果卡布 🍎 a unique blend that I’ve never tasted before. The cinnamon latte on the otherhand was blek 🤢 don’t order it!!

Super chill vibes and you can people watch through the windows 🫶🏻

... Read moreFor those exploring romantic cafes in Chongqing with a nostalgic vibe, Totomato truly stands out not just for its drinks but for its inviting ambiance. The café's décor complements its serene atmosphere, making it a great choice for a quiet date or solo unwind session. Beyond the Apple Cappuccino, which balances tartness and creaminess beautifully, other drink options include seasonal specialties that capture local flavor influences. If you enjoy people watching, the large windows at Totomato provide a delightful view of the bustling street life in Chongqing while you sip your beverage. The café also appears to embrace local culture, as suggested by signs spotted in the images like "香氛结地 OPEN MiC Tôi" which hints at community events or special gatherings. Whether you’re a regular coffee lover or someone seeking a unique café experience, this spot offers a memorable visit. From personal experience, having tried many cafes around Chongqing, Totomato’s combination of aesthetic appeal and specialty drinks makes it a must-visit for those who enjoy discovering lesser-known spots. Just be mindful to avoid the cinnamon latte, as it didn't match my expectations, but the refreshing Apple Cappuccino alone is worth the stop. For a true Chongqing café adventure, including those nostalgic romantic vibes, Totomato deserves a spot on your list.
