Replying to @mariela.31 BEAUTY MATH: SUNSCREENS…🫢 (details below)

if you're new here - welcome!! my name is rachel, i worked in finance for the last two years and reviewing beauty products from an analytical or "finance-y" lens is kinda my thing! 👩🏼‍💻

i created beauty math to take my videos one step further and REALLY dive into this analysis

comment "guide” for a direct link to the guide but as a refresher, here's how "beauty math" works:

- each episode focuses on a new product "category" (i.e., concealers, skin tints, cream blush, etc.)

- we'll focus on typical packaging size, product amount, good / bad things to look for and most importantly VALUE of each category

- by the end of the series you'll be able to quickly assess any product as you're shopping so you know when something is good value... or not🫣

along with each episode i drop the PDF for the category so you can go look at how any product stacks up against the rest !

so follow along, stay tuned for the next episode and vote what category we should discuss next !!

see you next time💌

... Read moreAs someone who loves diving deep into beauty products from a practical and analytical perspective, I found that understanding the value behind sunscreens can completely change the way you shop. Sunscreens aren’t all created equal — price alone doesn’t guarantee effectiveness or good skin protection. Beauty Math’s approach, focusing on packaging size, typical product amounts, and the overall value, really helps highlight what’s worth your investment. For instance, many sunscreens come in various sizes and formulas, from lightweight daily face sunscreens to heavier, sport-focused options. By comparing their volume (like ounces or milliliters) against their price, and factoring in the SPF and ingredients, you can estimate how long a product will last and whether it provides adequate skin protection at a reasonable cost. This method is especially helpful if budget is a concern but you still want to avoid compromising on skin health. Personal experience has shown me that some lesser-known brands can actually offer high SPF protection and skin-friendly ingredients at better value than luxury brands. The key is to understand the numbers and product details, which Beauty Math breaks down in simple terms. What’s also great about this series is the accessibility — each episode focuses on a different product category and provides a downloadable PDF guide so you can quickly evaluate products while shopping online or in stores. This practical tool saved me time and money by helping me avoid overpriced sunscreens with little payoff. If you’re someone like me who likes to make informed decisions based on data rather than marketing hype, this Beauty Math Sunscreens guide is a game-changer. It empowers you to shop smarter, apply sunscreen more confidently, and protect your skin effectively without overspending. Make sure to follow the series and participate in choosing the next product categories to explore — it’s an ongoing process of uncovering better beauty value through analysis.

You just going to keep replying it over and over again
At some point, it stops being about what happened... and starts being about what you're choosing to hold onto. Your past shaped you-but it doesn't control you anymore. Let it go, and watch what becomes possible. #L #LetGoToGrowO #OwnYourLifeN #No MoreExcuses| #InnerFreedomSelfMa
