as a content creator of almost 5 years i will die on this hill and for those asking things will be coming soon :)

... Read moreOver my years creating content, I’ve realized that the pressure to share every step with your audience isn’t for everyone. There’s something truly liberating about deciding what, when, and how to share your work rather than feeling obligated to broadcast your process publicly. The phrase “kinda chic to NOT build in public” really resonates with me because it emphasizes that privacy can actually enhance creativity. For me, holding back on constant public updates allows me to maintain a clearer vision without external noise or pressure. It helps keep my work authentic and purposeful rather than reactive to immediate feedback or trends. I’ve found that when I choose to reveal my process or projects, it’s because I’m ready—not because I’m forced to. This approach doesn’t mean ignoring your audience; it means building trust in a different way by delivering fully developed ideas and polished content. It challenges the common advice that content creators must share every detail of their journey to succeed. Instead, it’s about finding your own rhythm and balance. If you’re a creator feeling overwhelmed by the expectation to build in public, remember that your path is your own. Designing your process around what feels right for you—whether that’s sharing openly or keeping some things private—can boost your confidence and enhance your creative output. "Exactly how you want to!!" is more than a saying, it’s a philosophy that empowers creators to stay true to themselves and produce work they’re genuinely proud of.
