200k at 25!

to be fair i turn 26 this yr, but 200k by 25 just sounds nicer and technically not 26 yet means still 25 okkkk

i’ve seen many other posts on lemon8 sharing their financial milestones so i just felt pretty inspired to post mine too! also just for me to keep a little financial diary to look back to when i have 200mil hehe

took me about 4years of working Full-time to save up this amount, so this quite a big moment for me 🥹

full disclaimer : i wasn’t born rich or have wealthy parents, but i have to admit I am incredibly lucky to be in a position where I do not have to worry about rent, food, or education growing up. My parents also sponsored my uni fees fully so I was able to start building my wealth debt free with no student loans, so for that i am SOSOSO thankfullll

this is my first post,, idont really know what else to write haha im not even entirely sure anybody is interested in this content, if anyone is I would be happy to share moreee, i will be anon though because I would prefer to keep my peace IRL :)

From my own experience, building a solid financial foundation early depends heavily on key factors such as managing expenses, steady full-time employment, and having a clear savings plan. One advantage mentioned is having essential costs like rent, food, and education covered, eliminating major financial stressors. This kind of support allows more focus on growing personal savings and investing wisely. Even so, consistent discipline over several years was needed—taking about 4 years of full-time work to accumulate this milestone. It’s important to track your financial journey with tools like budgeting apps or account overviews—something visible in the screenshots shared, showing balances and investment portfolios. This real-time insight helps maintain awareness of spending habits and progress toward goals. For those aiming for similar milestones, consider starting as soon as possible with manageable saving targets. Avoiding debt, particularly student loans, can accelerate your path, as can living within or below your means. Additionally, investing even small amounts can help your money grow. Sharing financial milestones publicly or anonymously can motivate others and build a supportive community around smart money management. Whether your goal is 200k or beyond, the journey requires patience, planning, and sometimes a bit of luck with circumstances. But with dedication, reaching impressive savings by your mid-20s is entirely doable.
