The next door prata super nice. one of my favorites cos the prata is crispy and the curry they have is fish or chicken. The best part was the curry self service and is still hot.
Try out their fish curry is very thick not those watery and the curry favor is a punch. /I. Mohamed Ismail Food Stall
If you're exploring the flavors of Boon Lay, the Boon Lay Power Nasi Lemak stall is a must-visit for any nasi lemak craving. What stands out is not only the variety of toppings like chicken wings, ota, egg, and fish fillet but also the reasonable pricing that makes it a satisfying meal for just over ten dollars. From personal experience, the queue might look intimidating at first, but it moves quickly, ensuring you won’t wait long to enjoy your meal. Aside from nasi lemak, the prata stall next door deserves special mention. Crispy on the outside and soft within, the prata paired with their rich and thick fish curry creates a delicious combination. The best part is their self-service curry option which remains hot, allowing you to savor the meal at your own pace. I found the curry to be robustly flavored, definitely not watery, giving it a satisfying depth that enhances the overall taste experience. Having tasted both, I recommend trying their fish curry particularly—it has a punchy flavor profile that complements both the nasi lemak and prata beautifully. This combination offers a perfect sample of Singapore’s hawker culture, giving food enthusiasts a genuine local culinary delight. Whether you're a local or a visitor, these stalls around Boon Lay provide an authentic taste that’s well worth the visit.
