*HOW TO MAKE STARBUCKS WHIPPED CREAM*

Note: Starbucks uses this method with N2O chargers for their whipped cream, resulting in a lighter and fluffier texture compared to traditional hand-whipping methods. This technique is also used by other coffee shops.

Tips For Best Results

• Use heavy whipping cream for the best whipped cream that holds its shape well.

• Chill the whipped cream dispenser and heavy cream before using.

•Shake the dispenser gently to distribute the gas evenly.

• Hold the dispenser upside down when dispensing the whipped cream.

2 ingredients

- heavy cream

- starbucks brand vanilla syrup

Equipment

- whipped cream dispenser (iSi cream whipper)

- nitrous oxide (N2O) chargers

- steaming pitcher or mixing container

Instructions

1. Measure ingredients: Pour heavy cream into the steaming pitcher up to the "Max" line. Add vanilla syrup to the heavy cream.

2. Combine and shake: Pour the heavy cream and syrup mixture into the whipped cream dispenser.

3. Charge the dispenser: Screw the top onto the dispenser, ensuring a good seal. Insert a N2O charger into the charger holder and screw it onto the dispenser head until you hear a hissing sound, indicating the gas has been released into the dispenser.

4. Shake the dispenser: Shake the dispenser several times to distribute the gas evenly. Some sources suggest shaking about 4 times initially, then laying it on its side for a minute before shaking 8 more times.

5. Remove the charger: Remove the used charger from the dispenser.

6. Dispense and enjoy: Press the lever on the dispenser to release the whipped cream. You can test the consistency to ensure it's just right.
