April’s read🫣🤭

#bookishthings #aprilreads #fyplemon8

I can wait for next month’s reads. I’ve been really into audio books lately. I have a few physical books to still get done but I’m back on my reading journey to add to the collection of books I am stacking. So many reads but not reading huh? What’s you guys April TBR if you have one?

3/29 Edited to

... Read moreLately, I've really enjoyed immersing myself in audiobooks during my daily routines—whether commuting, doing chores, or simply relaxing. Titles from the OCR like "Harley LaRouX," "Her Soul Touch of Revenge," and "For Darkness" have been particularly captivating, especially narrated by talented voices like Gregory Salinas. Audiobooks offer a unique way to experience stories when your hands are busy but your mind craves a good read. That said, I also find great satisfaction in slowly working through my physical book pile. There's something about flipping real pages and the tactile feeling of a book that’s hard to replace. Managing both formats helps me maintain momentum when my schedule shifts. For example, if I can’t carve out quiet reading time, I simply switch to audio to keep the story alive. My advice for those building their April TBR (to be read list) is to mix formats as I do. Combine your favorite genres or authors—from fantasy to contemporary romance—to keep things fresh. I also like setting small goals, like finishing one audiobook and one physical book each month. Tracking progress motivates me and prevents getting overwhelmed by so many unread books. Curating a diverse stack helps sustain enthusiasm. You might try highlighted titles from popular audiobook narrators or trending physical books recommended by fellow readers. Engaging in online book communities and sharing your TBR choices encourages accountability and discovery. Ultimately, reading is a personal journey that adapts to your lifestyle. Whether you binge listen or savor a chapter a day, the key is consistency and enjoyment. So, what’s your April reading plan? Feel free to share your favorites or goals—I’m always looking for new stories to add to my collection!

I had such a good reading month. While I read about half the number of books I typically do, I found that it was a perfect sweet spot and I’m going to try to limit my reading to around 5 books a month moving forward. I was able to take my time with each book, and with that I found a more reward
