26 books for your 2026 TBR

These are some of the books I’m most excited about, I obviously have a lot more on my #tbr here are some of my top ones (most of them influenced by #booktok )

PAGE 1: Top 6

🌸Things We Never Got Over - had this on my radar for a while. I’ve just started it and can already confirm it’s an easy “chick flick” kind of read, reminds me a lot of It Ends With Us.

🌸Hamnet - is also in progress, this one is a bit heavier. Historical fiction, describing a brother who’s trying to save his very ill sister, siblings come from a very unusual family set in Stratford upon Avon. A lot of descriptions in the first couple of chapters but as you learn more about the family, you get more invested in its members.

🌸Fourth Wing - completed and I rated it 4.5⭐️, Harry Potter meets dragons with a taste of Hunger Games, full review in previous posts. I’ve enjoyed this one so want to complete the series.

🌸Atmosphere - historical fiction I keep seeing all over TikTok that’s meant to make you feel things. I’ve read other books by this author so I know I’ll enjoy this one.

✨Alchemised - plot sounds amazing but not sure if I’ll dare to tackle this one due to its size (maybe on audio)

✨Powerless - plot sounds right up my alley, if I like it I’ll definitely get the rest of the series.

✨Phantasma - strikes me as something different to other fantasy books, more mystique and I know it can be read as a stand alone same as the second one in the series, Enchantra (this one seems to have better reviews, but my pet peeve is not doing things in order).

✨3 random thrillers I’ve heard great things about (and thriller is still my favourite genre).

🧁3 Freida McFadden books - I loved most of her books and wizzed through them, true page turners, you can count on to take you out of reading slump (picked these 3 mainly because I got physical copies from the works but also they have good reviews).

🫶🏼the Names - I read and rated 3.5⭐️ really wanted to love this one as I’ve heard great things about it but unfortunately it just wasn’t enough for me. Full review in previous posts.
