Seriously, who else is absolutely buzzing to see Alex Volkov and Ava Chen come to life on screen? While the timeline is still a mystery, just knowing it's happening is enough to keep me hyped! But that's just the tip of the iceberg, besties! It feels like every day there's another incredible book turning into a movie or a TV show, and I am HERE for it. Speaking of major news, can we talk about Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros becoming an Amazon Prime series? If you're anything like me, you've probably devoured that book (and *Iron Flame*!) and are already picturing Xaden Riorson and Violet Sorrengail flying across your screens. This adaptation has so much potential to be epic, especially with those dragons! And guess what else is coming to Amazon Prime? The beloved Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score! That small-town romance with Knox and Naomi is just perfect for a cozy series binge. I can already imagine all the hilarious and heartwarming moments. It’s definitely on my must-watch list as soon as it drops. For all my fantasy lovers, Alex Aster's Lightlark is also getting a movie adaptation! I'm so curious to see how they bring the magical world and intricate rules of Lightlark to the big screen. The visuals alone are going to be stunning, I just know it. And let's not forget Elle Kennedy's Girl Abroad – a TV adaptation is also on its way, which means more of that signature witty romance we love! It’s truly a golden age for bookworms who love screen adaptations. Whether it's a series on Amazon Prime, a movie coming soon, or something heading to Netflix, there’s always something to look forward to. To keep up with all these exciting announcements, I always keep an eye on BookTok, follow my favorite authors, and check out publishing news sites. Sometimes even just browsing Netflix or Prime's 'based on books' categories can give you some amazing finds! Seeing our favorite characters and worlds come to life is such a unique experience. While nothing beats the book, a good adaptation can truly enhance the story and introduce it to a whole new audience.
