How much I read in a week!😊💕

2024/11/14 Edited to

... Read moreIt's always so satisfying to look back at what I've managed to read in a week! This past week was particularly fulfilling, and I wanted to share a deeper dive into my reading habits and some of the fantastic novels I picked up. Tracking my progress, like seeing that total of 299 pages I devoured, really motivates me to keep going. It's not just about the page count, though; it's about the stories, the characters, and the new worlds I get to explore. Reading truly is a joy, and making it a consistent hobby has brought so much enrichment to my life. This week's reading adventure included a re-read of a classic, 'Phantasm', which always sends shivers down my spine with its unique blend of horror and fantasy. It's one of those books that stays with you long after you've turned the last page. Then there was 'Practical Magic', a delightful escape into a world of sisterhood, magic, and finding your own way. Both offer such different yet equally captivating experiences, truly showcasing the diverse beauty of novels. Beyond those, I also dipped into a few others throughout the week, making every day count. On Monday, I kicked off with a gripping read that kept my nerves on edge for about 105 pages. Tuesday introduced me to a new author, leaving me with tantalizing hoff for more after just 20 pages. Wednesday was a victory day, finishing up a novel that was a true yersa of a story – always a great feeling! And by Friday, I was already eyeing my next read, something with a promising kiss of romance or intrigue, ready for a fresh start. It's amazing how quickly those pages add up when you're immersed in a good story. If you're looking for the best current novels to read or simply want to cultivate reading as a hobby, here are a few tips I've found helpful: Set a daily goal: Even if it's just 20-30 pages, consistency is key. Those small increments, like my Tuesday read, really contribute to your weekly total. Mix genres: Don't be afraid to switch between different types of books. If you're stuck on a heavy read, pick up something lighter for a change. Sometimes an editic (eclectic) mix is exactly what you need! Join a book club or community: Discussing books with others, like in a Lemon8 book club, can introduce you to incredible novels recommendations and offer new perspectives. Keep a reading journal: This is where tracking those pages, like my 299pg total, comes in handy! It helps you see your progress and remember what you've read. Don't be afraid to abandon a book: If a book isn't grabbing you, it's okay to put it down and find one that does. Life's too short for bad books! So, whether you're into thrilling narratives, heartwarming tales, or thought-provoking literary fiction, there's a novel out there for everyone. What have been your best novels to read right now? I'm always on the hunt for good novels to read for adults, so please share your favorites in the comments below! I love getting personalized book reviews and recommendations from fellow readers. Happy reading, everyone!
