thanksgiving craft for kids
This is such a fun, easy craft to do! You can find the turkey printable on TPT, or the learning with kelsey website and download the monthly printable pack. You could also DIY it too!
supplies:
- turkey printable
- crayons or light marker
- marker or pen to write their name
- scissors
- glue stick
- glitter, gems, stickers, feathers for decorating (optional)
1. cut out your turkey printables on whatever paper you have
2. color the feathers and turkey with crayon or light marker, so they can still write and see their name over it
3. have your child write each letter of their name on each feather. You can also write it for them and they can trace! we are working on writing her name so I let her take the reigns on it to boost her confidence.
4. glue your feathers onto your turkey with a glue stick
5. let dry and hang on your fridge or display in an art photo frame (in my previous post)
If you want to jazz it up, you could have your child decorate it with whatever they want (gems, stickers, adding more feathers, glitter, etc.)
