PART 1/3 *30 Things I Learned in My 30s

Some of these lessons came easy. Many came the hard way.

Here are the first 10.

Also, a little note from me: Unlearn what you’ve been told to be, and teach yourself to operate in the truth of who you are. Build your own gosh-darn-life from what you actually wish to see, feel, and hear—because, in the healthiest way possible… who cares? ;) #embraceyour30s #lifelessons #personalgrowth

... Read moreWe often talk about "the day I learned an important lesson" as if it's a single, sudden moment of epiphany. But in my experience, especially navigating the beautiful chaos of my 30s, these profound lessons rarely arrive in a neat package on one specific day. Instead, they're often a culmination of small, sometimes uncomfortable, realizations that slowly but surely shift your entire perspective. It's a journey of unlearning what society, family, and even our younger selves told us we should be, and painstakingly teaching ourselves to operate in the truth of who we *are*. One of the most significant lessons I've embraced is the radical act of self-love. It's not just about pampering yourself; it’s a deep, unwavering commitment to staying with yourself even when every part of you wants to run, especially through challenges. This journey took everything from me, yet gave me back me in the most profound way. It meant learning to truly receive good things without flinching, believing I was worthy of them. This acceptance extends to my physical self too – my body, she's changed so much over the years, but she still shows up for me every day. Embracing these changes, rather than fighting them, has been a huge part of finding peace. Another revelation has been understanding the power of sitting in the uncomfortable. So often, we rush to fix things, to smooth over rough edges. But I've realized that losing the biggest things in life can paradoxically give you back your truest self. It's in those moments of vulnerability and uncertainty that you discover you're softer than you thought, and infinitely stronger than you knew. This isn't about seeking out pain, but accepting that growth often sprouts from discomfort, from those moments that push you to your limits and reveal what you're truly made of. My desire for adventure, for instance, isn't just wanderlust; it's become my life force. It's about following that internal compass, even if it doesn't align with conventional paths. Similarly, I've learned that my spiritual path is deeply personal and mine alone. It doesn't need to match anyone else's, nor does it require external validation. Building a life from what you actually wish to see, feel, and hear – that’s where the true magic lies. These aren't just lessons; they're the little big wins that have shifted my life, allowing me to build a foundation that truly reflects my authentic self. May you also find joy in your own unique journey of discovery and growth!

What I’ve learned in my 40s
My 40s have been full of lessons I didn’t know I needed. Lessons in slowing down. In softening. In starting over without shame. In trusting God—even when the timeline didn’t make sense. I’ve had to unlearn a lot. Unlearn who I thought I had to be. Unlearn the idea that healing should be quick and

I used to run away from short clothes!! One thing I used to do was wear clothes that made me look shorter! Im already 5’2!! So playing around with different styles has shown me that wearing shorter skirts, skorts, shorts and creating some space between my shoes and where the skirt/short ends, makes
