Newfoundland's landscape is a captivating mix of rugged coastlines, rolling hills, and dramatic cliffs, shaped by millions of years of geological activity. During my visits, I found the distinct rock formations and coastal fjords particularly striking — they tell a story of ancient glaciers and volcanic activity. One of the most unforgettable features is the Long Range Mountains, which offer not only stunning views but also a glimpse into the island’s geological past. Walking through these ranges, you can see the layers of rock that have been sculpted into fascinating shapes. Additionally, the coastal landforms like bays, coves, and headlands create diverse ecosystems and picturesque spots that are perfect for hiking, photography, and spotting wildlife.
