SOOO, I got married in January and had my MOMS wedding dress repurposed! She was totally okay with me doing so, but it ended up being a suprise.
I would HIGHLY recommend looking into this if you want to add a sweet suprise to your reception. My grandmother actually cut/sewed it, but there are TONS of alteration shops that would be able to do this.
Don't have your moms dress/can't use it? THRIFT ONE BABE. I have seen SO MANY beautiful vintage dresses for under $50 at thrift stores, I even found one that looked almost exactly identical to my moms.
