Researchers were conducting a controlled dew-field observation when a single bubble detached from the surrounding mist. It hovered—motionless—for thirty-seven seconds. Within its membrane appeared what at first seemed like a reflection, but soon proved otherwise: a human eye.

The iris contracted as the camera adjusted. The pupil followed motion. There was no human nearby.

Spectral readings detected a faint 72 Hz pulse — similar to a heartbeat.

Some claim the image is pareidolia; others suspect bio-optical coherence, a moment when water temporarily mirrors the observer’s mind. Either way, this bubble appeared to see back.
