A favor in a small village.

There was an old man who lived alone. He was not rich, had no offspring, and hardly anyone cared about him.

Every morning, the old man would sit in front of the house, with a small cold jug for passersby.

Even without anyone saying thank you, he still does so every day.

One day a poor boy passed by in a state of exhaustion. The old man handed him water and rice, saying:

"A difficult day... just having someone give you a hand keeps your heart from breaking."

The young boy always remembers that day.

Many years have passed.

The boy grew, became affluent and respected by the people.

But on the day everyone approached him, he never forgot the old man who had given only one bowl of water and a dish of rice.

He went back to the old man again.

The original house was more dilapidated than the old. The old man's body was already much weakened.

The boy knelt down in front of him and said:

"The day no one appreciates me, there is a merciful uncle.

I may not repay it all... but I will never forget that gratitude. "

The old man smiled thinly and said,

"A man who knows gratitude, no matter how hard it is, his heart will never be low."

Many people can't remember what they themselves got.

But people who really thrive

Always remember... who used to reach out on the day that he had nothing left
