I was a mom that HAS ALWAYS been there!! Every school event , recital, Ballet, Jiu Jitsu never missed any !! I never got to see Ballet performances because I was a backstage mom changing her for Tap, Ballet, Jazz . Drove hrs for her to be the best in Jiu Jitsu!! So dont every question my parenting!! Just because I dont like her crusty dusty boy doesn't mean Im a bad mom. Mom's intuition is never wrong !!

... Read moreBeing a fully committed parent means showing up in every moment that matters to your child, from the backstage hustle of ballet performances to the intense training sessions of Jiu Jitsu tournaments. I've experienced firsthand how important it is to be present, even when it means sacrificing your own comfort or time, like spending hours driving to events or helping with quick costume changes behind the scenes. The commitment extends beyond just physical presence; it's about trusting your instincts as a mother. Mom’s intuition is often dismissed but is a powerful guide in navigating complex emotions and situations, especially when it comes to protecting your child’s well-being and making choices that might not be popular with everyone else, including other parents or friends. It's also important to recognize that supporting a child’s diverse interests, whether it’s dance styles like tap and jazz or competitive sports like Jiu Jitsu, nurtures their confidence and growth. Sometimes, that means not always understanding or liking who your child chooses to befriend, but standing strong in your parenting decisions without feeling the need to justify yourself to others. The experiences of being behind the scenes during artistic recitals and cheering rowdily at sports competitions can teach you resilience and unconditional support. These moments create lifelong memories and build the foundation for your child's success and happiness. So, to all parents who feel judged, remember that your unique journey and devotion are what truly matter in raising your kids.

5 books I recommend to every mom

What I wish I knew as a first time mom…
I wish I knew these symptoms in my newborn as a first time mom. My second baby has colic AND acid reflux and is a totally different newborn than my first who rarely cried. If my first baby had this I would feel so lost on what to do and would think it’s my fault. Colic typically peaks between 4-

I write a lot on the go, while in the car or sitting down at a coffee shop. I also read a lot, while waiting on doctor’s appointments, and grocery pickups. So I make sure that I have a keyboard and a book available just in case. So here’s what I carry in my bag- not pictured are whatever snacks
