Peach Cobbler 🍑

Ingredients:

Peaches:

*2 cans of peaches in heavy syrup.

*1/2 cup brown sugar

*1/2 cup of white sugar

* Vanilla, i dont measure mines however you can add 1/2tsp

*A splash of lemon extract, be very careful not to add to much!

*Cinnamon to you liking

*Nutmeg to your liking

Batter:

*1 1/2 cups of self-rising flour

*1 cup of white sugar

*1 cup of milk, I used whole but use whatever you have on hand

*Cinnamon

What to do:

*Grab a 9 x 13 baking pan. Add a stick of butter to the pan.

You are going to preheat your oven to 350° and add your baking pan to allow the butter to melt.

*While the oven is preheating, and your butter is melting, you are going to start off by making your batter.

*Combine your flour, sugar, cinnamon, and milk to a bowl and you are going to mix until smooth. Make sure there are no lumps once that’s completed set aside and we’re gonna start on you peaches.

*To a pot you are going to add your peaches. Make sure you drain the juice from one can.

*Combine your brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.

Bring your ingredients to a soft boil, just to make sure all sugars are dissolved and combined and turn off heat.

*After your peaches are finished you are going to remove your pan from the oven with melted butter.

*You are going to add your batter over the melted butter and be very mindful not to stir.

*Once your batter is in your pan you are gonna cover the batter with your peaches again be mindful not to stir.

* Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg, Pop your Cobbler into the oven for 50 minutes or until golden brown.

*Remove from oven. Let cool top with vanilla ice cream and enjoy.
