Day 8 - Momentum Medicine- Practice =Confidence
Day 8: Momentum Medicine - Practice = confidence.
As an introvert, confidence hasn’t always been automatic for me. It’s something I’ve had to consciously build. Stretch by stretch. Moment by moment.
And here’s what I’ve learned....the more I practice something, especially something I’m passionate about, the more solid I feel in it. Whether it’s speaking, creating, holding space, or stepping into something new… repetition turns doubt into belief.
Practice quiets the inner critic.
Practice strengthens self-trust.
Practice turns 'Can I?' into 'I can.'
Confidence isn’t a personality trait. It’s a by-product of preparation.
And every time I show up and practice, I’m not just improving a skill — I’m value adding to who I am. I’m moving closer to my most authentic, self-actualised self.
Momentum today isn’t about being fearless. It’s about being willing to rehearse your power until it feels natural.
So for me it's practice, practice, practice....

From my own journey, I've found that confidence is rarely an innate trait—it's cultivated gradually by dedicating time and effort to practicing what matters most. The concept of Momentum Medicine resonates deeply because it highlights practice as the bridge between uncertainty and self-assurance. In moments when I felt overwhelmed or hesitant, intentionally repeating an action, such as preparing a presentation or engaging in creative work, helped me silence my inner critic. Practice doesn't just enhance the skill itself; it rewires how I perceive my abilities, building a stronger foundation of self-trust. What's powerful about this approach is that it's accessible to everyone, introvert or extrovert. The key lies in shifting focus from fear of failure to readiness, embracing repetition as rehearsal for success. Each small, deliberate step adds value to your authentic self and moves you closer to living aligned with your true potential. Momentum Medicine’s emphasis on viewing confidence as a by-product of preparation rather than a fixed trait encourages patience and persistence. By reframing struggles as opportunities to rehearse your power, you create an empowering cycle of growth. Practicing consistently allowed me to transform moments of uncertainty into proof that yes, I can. This ongoing process is not about perfection, but about embracing the journey of becoming more self-actualized through presence, dedication, and mindful effort.
