Round up of some of my favorite things. ROUND UP (the weed killer NOT being one of them.) ☺️
I wanted to share a bit more about how these favorite things have really impacted my daily routine lately. Starting with my Judy Blue jeans, I never expected to love blue jeans so much until I tried this brand. Their stretchiness makes them incredibly comfortable for all-day wear, whether I'm out running errands or spending time with my chickens in the yard. Speaking of chickens, keeping a small flock has been such a rewarding hobby. It’s taught me a lot about care, the pecking order dynamics, and the joys of fresh eggs. Transitioning new girls to the coop can be a challenge, but seeing them settle in is very satisfying. Recently, we cleaned out the garage to create a better space for them—which was a tough task but totally worth it. Another favorite discovery has been making floral jellies. With spring in full bloom, wildflowers like dandelion and violet are perfect for crafting homemade jellies. Experimenting with different flower types has been fun and adds a fresh twist to my kitchen. On the footwear front, my new Hoka Bondi 9s have been lifesavers, especially as someone who has battled plantar fasciitis. These shoes provide amazing support and cushioning that make walking and light exercise much more comfortable. Lastly, a bit about my landscaping efforts—I'm hopeful the lawn will green up soon, so the chickens have more grass to enjoy without stripping it bare. It’s a constant balancing act but very fulfilling. Overall, these favorite things—from clothes and shoes to hobbies and home projects—have really enhanced my lifestyle. They remind me that simple comforts and activities can bring so much joy and well-being every day.
