Meal Prep Is My Reset

Some people unwind with silence.

I unwind by seasoning chicken, roasting sweet potatoes, and standing over the stove while veggies sizzle in the pan.

Meal prepping gives me structure when life feels loud. It’s one of the few moments where my mind slows down and I can focus on something simple, comforting, and nourishing.

This week’s therapy meal:

🍍 Pineapple glazed boneless skinless chicken thighs

🍠 Roasted sweet potatoes

🥦 Pan-seared veggies

The sweet glaze, caramelized edges, and warm vegetables feel like a reminder that taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes healing looks like making sure future you has a good meal waiting. 💛
