who is Responsible for a MAJOR repair & expenses

So, the road trip was not my journey. I purchased a Dodge Journey and I paid $14,443. cashiers check for the vehicle and warranty package on 03/23/2026 paid to SALEM PRE-OWNED AUTO on Hawthorne and Dst N.E on 03/27/2026 less then 800 miles driven TRANSMISSION went out***STUCK IN EARLIMART, CALIFORNIA.

I talked to the Manager and the car salesman IMMEDIATELY when the transmission was slipping and also bringing to✨Outfit Details: their attention that I have not even owned the car for 72 hours and that i have not even driven the car 800 miles.The Manager from Salem Pre owned Autos said they would cover the $1005 i had to pay for parts out of my pocket. As for the room, 3 meals a day, the rental car for 25 days waiting for repairs. Not to mention the events that I planned that had to be canceled due to the vehicle breaking down. The cost or 1 night in a motel in California $130 a night and then breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday $75 per meal and a rental car with a 100 mile restriction for driving out of town at $1500. Who is Responsible for the out of pocket $6600
