Imagine walking up a hill to find two people...Wearing a full suit, wearing a raincoat, and being blindfolded with a "lead mask." ⛰️👽
In August 1966, at the peak of Vintem Hill, Brazil, a teenage boy came across the creepiest and most bizarre image, which became a case in which detectives around the world still have to hold.
Police found the bodies of two men, 'Manuel' and 'Miguel', lying side by side on the grass.
Surprisingly, they were dressed in well-tied suits, worn over with raincoats...But that's still not as strange as what's on the face.
Both eyes...It is covered with a coarse self-sewing "Lead Mask," which is usually intended to prevent radioactivity or light that is too bright for the human eye to handle.
No signs of struggle. No wounds from assault.
Beside their bodies were empty water bottles, two towels, and a "little notebook."
When the police opened the reading, the short text made the case even more dark and mysterious...
The text says:
"4: 30 p.m., get to the appointment.
6: 30 p.m., swallow the capsule.
After action, protect your face (with a mask) and wait for the signal..."
What sign? Who arranged them here? And what's that puzzle capsule?
According to the autopsy, no toxins were found on both of them. They were not murdered...But like intentionally lying in wait for "something" that requires a lead mask to protect the eyes.
Friends of the couple testified that they were obsessed with experimenting with contact with "aliens" and mystical energy. Some believe they may have arranged to meet UFOs. Some theories say they may have been involved in a freak cult that tricked them into taking poison.
Almost 60 years have passed...What was the couple waiting for on the top of the mountain that day? And what kind of bright light were they trying to prevent?
